What is Jet Mate?
Jet Mate is a reusable pipe junction diverter that helps guide drainage equipment into the correct branch of a drain.
It can be used with a range of common drainage equipment, including:
Drain jetting hoses and nozzles
CCTV drain survey cameras
Drain rods and rodding equipment
Other pushrod-based inspection equipment
How does Jet Mate work?
Jet Mate is attached to compatible plunger rods and inserted into the drainage system through an upstream access point.
The engineer moves the tool through the pipe until it reaches the junction they need to access. Jet Mate is then positioned inside the junction arm, creating a temporary guide within the pipe.
The jetting hose, CCTV camera or drain rods can then be fed into the drainage system. When the equipment reaches the junction, Jet Mate helps direct it into the correct branch.
Once the inspection, cleaning or unblocking work has been completed, Jet Mate can be removed from the drain and used again on future jobs.
It is a straightforward solution that works alongside the drain cleaning and inspection equipment engineers already carry.
By helping equipment enter the correct branch more easily, Jet Mate can reduce repeated attempts, save time on site and help engineers complete difficult inspections or blockage-clearing jobs more efficiently.
