The Flexible Shaft Descale Kit for Cast Pipes is designed for tougher mechanical cleaning in larger cast iron and clay pipework, giving drainage engineers a compact setup for removing scale, deposits and heavy internal build-up.

Suitable for 100mm (4") to 150mm (6") pipes, this kit uses carbide chain knockers with hard metal cutting edges to deliver a more aggressive cleaning action than plain chains. This makes it a strong option for cast iron and clay pipes where scale, hardened deposits or stubborn build-up need to be broken down effectively.

Because the system is powered by a suitable drill, it is quick to set up and easy to move around site. The lightweight flexible shaft assembly makes it particularly useful where access is restricted, equipment needs to be carried through buildings, or a larger machine would be less practical.

Simply connect the flexible shaft to your drill using the rotator shaft socket, attach the correct carbide chain knocker for the pipe size, and you are ready to begin controlled mechanical descaling.
