Flexible Shaft Descale Kit - Cast Pipes - 75mm (3") to 100mm (4")

The Flexible Shaft Descale Kit for Cast Pipes is built for controlled mechanical cleaning in smaller cast iron and clay pipework, helping drainage engineers remove scale, deposits and internal build-up in 75mm (3") to 100mm (4") pipes.

Fitted with carbide chain knockers, this kit is designed for more demanding descaling work where plain chains may not provide enough bite. The hard metal cutting edges help break down tougher deposits inside the pipe, making it a practical choice for cast iron and clay pipe applications.

The drill-powered setup keeps the kit lightweight, compact and easy to move around site. This is especially useful where access is limited, larger machines are difficult to transport, or the job involves moving through buildings, stairwells or lift access. Simply connect the flexible shaft to a suitable power drill using the rotator shaft socket, fit the correct carbide chain knocker, and you are ready to start cleaning.

The kit includes:

• A flexible shaft complete with sleeve and friction bearings to prevent dirt from getting between the shaft and the sleeve. The sleeve is heat and chemical resistant, and offers the perfect combination of rigidity and flexibility whilst maintaining a light weight.
