The Flexible Shaft Descale Kit for PVC Pipes is a compact, drill-powered cleaning setup for removing scale, deposits and internal build-up from 75mm (3") to 100mm (4") pipework.

Designed for drainage engineers who need a lightweight alternative to heavier machinery, this kit is quick to transport, easy to set up and practical for jobs where access is limited. Simply connect the flexible shaft to a suitable power drill using the rotator shaft socket, attach the correct chain knocker, and you are ready to start cleaning.

The plain chain knockers are supplied without drill heads, making this kit well suited to descaling and cleaning PVC and ABS pipes where a less aggressive approach is needed. They can also be used in cast iron and vitrified clay pipes, although carbide chains are usually the better option for tougher scale, hardened deposits or more demanding pipe cleaning work.

The kit includes:

• A flexible shaft complete with sleeve and friction bearings to prevent dirt from getting between the shaft and the sleeve. The sleeve is heat and chemical resistant, and offers the perfect combination of rigidity and flexibility whilst maintaining a light weight.
