Heavyweight X-Tip Sewer Cleaning Chains ( Cast Pipe ) 10mm - 12mm Cable

X-Tip chains are designed for aggressive removal of tuberculation and lime scale build up in pipes with a diameter ranging from 100mm to 150mm (4" to 6"). This chain is meant for cleaning cast iron and vitrified clay pipes.

This model has no crown drill head, so it is more suitable for descaling than blockage removal, and the absence of a drill head allows the chain to handle multiple bends without biting into wall of the pipe as it navigates through a bend.

The chain is lightweight, and uses centrifugal forces to centre the tool in the pipe. This ensures that the entire inner surface of the pipe is cleaned quickly and easily.

Depending on the size you choose, the chains could have 1 - 3 stainless steel chains with varying lengths which have fused hardened metal teeth. 

The X-Tip is suitable for grinding cast iron, concrete, copper, clay and steel pipes; however, due to its aggressive nature, we do not recommend using this chain with PVC pipes.
